Based on 2004 Maine Center for Economic Policy average livable wage report

Individuals may be eligible for the HHG Program based on gross family income, which may not exceed the amounts shown below:

Other Guidelines:

  • Client must currently have a job or job offer that will improve income or currently be receiving monthly Social Security benefits or a Retirement Pension.
  • Client must be a Maine resident.
  • Client must live in Hancock or Washington County.
  • Client must have a valid Maine Driver's License.

Client must fill out program application completely

Client must attach with completed application the following:

  • 4 most recent consecutive date pay stubs or monthly benefits statement for each applicant
  • Copy of Maine Driver's License for each applicant
