Low Income Assistance Program for Electric Bills
Sponsored by Bangor Hydro-Electric Company, Central Maine Power Company, and Eastern Maine Electric Co-op, this program provides a monthly reduction on electric bills. Benefits vary with utility company plan and household income.
Requirements: You must be eligible for LIHEAP to access this program. This application is done at the same time as your LIHEAP application. See Heating Assistance for details.
Telephone Lifeline Program
This program provides clients with monthly reduction on their telephone bills.
