Transportation to Medical Appointments
Transportation assistance for MaineCare covered appointments using Agency vehicles & Volunteer Drivers. Mileage Reimbursement of 21 cents per mile for Self Drivers and Friends & Family.
Registered self-drivers can call or email us at gro.pacachw@rebmunpirt for trip numbers. Please include the name of the person with the appointment, date and time of the appointment, and the name of the doctor and their address. A confirmation will be emailed to you.
Requirements: This service is for MaineCare recipients. Please contact us about other transporation programs you may be eligible for.
Transportation to Child Protective Visits
Provides transportation to supervised visits for those who are referred by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. WHCA offers safe and appropriate transportation to family reunification meetings and services.
Requirements: You must be referred by Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
Transportation to Sheltered Workshops
Provides transportation for the mentally challenged to a sheltered workshop.
Requirements: MaineCare recipients only.
