Positive Parenting Workshops Offered
A 7-week Positive Parenting Workshop series will be offered in Milbridge on Wednesday evenings beginning April 7. The series is designed for parents, guardians and caregivers of young children. The series will cover the topics of bullying, TV violence, communicating with young children and building self esteem in the early years. Participants will practice strategies to be effective with discipline, help your child learn to cooperate and increase your enjoyment and effectiveness as a parent.
Sessions will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Washington Hancock Community Agency's office at 2 Maple Street in Milbridge beginning April 7 and ending on May 19.
