Italian Dinner to Benefit Helping Hands Garage
St. Andrew Lutheran Church will hold an Italian supper to benefit Helping Hands Garage on Friday, June 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The church offers good food and good fellowship for a good cause. St. Andrew is located at 175 Downeast Highway in Ellsworth.
Helping Hands Garage is dedicated to helping income-eligible people buy reliable, used vehicles, including assistance with selection and financing. The program has helped many people achieve self-sufficiency through vehicle ownership. HHG operates under the Transportation Division of Washington Hancock Community Agency, a non-profit organization founded in 1966.
