Per diem CNA/CRMA Friendship Cottage
Friendship Cottage is an Adult Day Program in Blue Hill, Maine. WHCA is seeking to enlarge their Per Diem pool for CNA/CRMA.
The CNA/CRMA is responsible for the direct care of consumers receiving services. The position will be responsible for participating in the provision of a safe and secure environment, providing personal care assistance, and may be asked to assist in preparing and providing daily meal service, housekeeping and shopping.
Applicants for CNA/CRMA must be currently licensed. Prior nursing/assisted living facility experience preferred. Must be able to work Saturdays on occasion, and must be willing to transport consumers in an agency vehicle. Must have clean driving record, pass criminal background check, and must pass the pre-employment drug screening. This position is part of the random drug and alcohol testing pool.
Part time Dirvers:
Washington Hancock Community Agency is seeking part-time drivers to join its operations in our coverage area. Candidate must have clean driving record, pass criminal and child protective background checks, meet drug and alcohol testing requirements, and not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
Washington Hancock Community Agency is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join its operations in Ellsworth. Primary duties will include oversight of the payroll and accounts payable functions of the organization, accurate recording of monthly and year end fiscal transactions, and maintenance of general ledger accounts. Duties will also include assisting the Director of Finance with monthly internal and external reporting, contract management, and the annual audit process.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, show initiative, be able to prioritize tasks in order to meet multiple deadlines, and have strong leadership qualities. Strong knowledge of computerized accounting, spreadsheets, and word processing is preferred. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 3 years accounting experience. Comparable education and experience may be considered for the right candidate. Per our varied contracts, WHCA requires clean background checks through the State Bureau of Investigation, and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate must not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
