District Development Coordinator

The Downeast Public Health Council and Washington Hancock Community Agency are seeking to hire a district development coordinator for providing professional management support. The district development coordinator will be a full time employee based in Hancock or Washington Counties. Travel in the two counties will be required. This position will be responsible for supporting the work of the Downeast Public Health Council.

The position requires a candidate with experience in project management, community and regional public health planning, knowledge of public health and organizational management, and ability to facilitate complex issues while managing and resolving conflict. Graduate level degree in public health is preferred; bachelor's degree with relevant work experience will be considered.

Volunteer Poverty Program Coordinator

Are you a retired business executive or professional with a keen interest in poverty issues on the Blue Hill Peninsula?

The Community Compass Poverty Collaborative is seeking a part-time volunteer Program Coordinator to help forward our mission to bridge divides, break the cycle of poverty, and build community wide prosperity on the Blue Hill Peninsula.

If you are someone who is committed to increasing opportunities for all community members, and helping to coordinate new, innovative programs, this might be just the right volunteer opportunity for you.

The Community Compass is an established grassroots organization serving the 9 towns of the Blue Hill Peninsula with a robust, committed volunteer Steering Committee and operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Washington-Hancock Community Agency.

CNA/CRMA

Friendship Cottage is an Adult Day Program in Blue Hill, Maine. WHCA is seeking to enlarge their Per Diem pool for CNA/CRMA.

The CNA/CRMA is responsible for the direct care of consumers receiving services. The position will be responsible for participating in the provision of a safe and secure environment and personal care assistance.

Qualifications:  Applicants for CNA/CRMA must be currently licensed. Prior nursing/assisted living facility experience preferred.  Must be able to work Saturdays on occasion, willing to transport consumers, have clean driving record, reliable transportation, and pass criminal background check.

PART TIME DRIVERS

We are seeking part-time drivers for Hancock and Washington counties. We provide transportation to low income, elderly and disadvantaged citizens as well as the general public. Our vehicles are easy to operate and require no special license, just a good driving record and a desire to provide safe and pleasant transportation to the people we serve. Flexible schedules available.

 Candidate must have clean driving record, pass criminal background check, and not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
