Information
Job Start offers loans up to $10,000 to start or expand a small business at an interest rate of prime plus 1% with no origination fees.
Requirements: To qualify for a loan you must be:

Unable to obtain financing from a bank

Have income at or below the region's median income

Net worth (excluding home and business assets) must be below $25,000

Complete a loan application for loan committee review
It is the responsibility of the borrower to complete the application with all necessary data attached. The loan committee staff need not consider the application until it is determined complete by program staff. Contact Loan Officer Carla Britton at 664-2424, extension 4405 for details.
