Overview of the 2009 Event
The 2009 Maine Farmers' Market Convention took place March 20-22 at Schoodic Education and Research Center (SERC) in Winter Harbor, ME. (Check them out at http://www.acadiapartners.org/.) Nearly 100 people joined us on beautiful Schoodic Point to inspire and invigorate their farmers' markets.
Our dynamic speakers included Steve Miller, Greg Franklin, Gabe McPhail, Monique Bouchard and other panelists from all over Maine with Deb Burwell as our lead facilitator. Workshops included topics such as: Working with Municipalities, Selling Your Best, Customer Service, Electronic Banking, Marketing, Recruiting and Retention and more.
